Criticism dignity project that protects the employment of medical cannabis patients

In the wake of today, the spokesman for the Dignity Project in the Chamber of Deputies, Lisie J. Burgos Muñiz, participated in the Final Consideration Vista on the Camera 152 Project, which will be amended on 42-2017, known as la Ley para Manejar el Estudio, Desarrollo e Investigación del Cannabis for Innovation, Applicable Standards and Limits, “Ley Medicinal”.

But it is clear that employers do not discriminate against employees who are medical cannabis patients, both in the public sector and in the private sector.

“From the first day it was announced that it would consider the medium of viability to address the implications that this project could bring to the labor sector. The form in which the legislative piece is being edited is ambiguous, unconstitutional and has vague views, ”said Burgos Muñiz.

The spokesman for Proyecto Dignidad aseguró has requested that additional visits be made by the 26th of February, “in order to carry out the search for experts in Human Conduct, Mental Health, Addictions”, but his petition was not heard.

“I do not agree with the legislature alone, representing a large sector of the people’s conservator who decided to close files with the Dignity Project because it precisely established that we do not consider them at the moment of legislation,” Burgos Muñiz said.

The representative of Burgos Muñiz will formulate an agreement that will protect the established rights in the Constitutional Provisions of the Separation of Churches and the State and the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America. These efforts also lead to the protection of the Educational Institutions, Corporations with the Fine Arts of Lucro and Community Organizations of the Base de Fe. These entries were not submitted at the time of the vote of the Vista.

“We call the attention given to the fact that the New York City has a population of approximately 9 million and has around 40 Cannabis Medicinal Dispensaries, while in Puerto Rico, 2/3 less than the City of the City New York, it has 127 Dispensaries and 200 hopefuls for licensing. Another date we are surprised is that the Mayor of Certified Persons as Medical Cannabis Patients in Puerto Rico is in the ring from 21 to 30 years of age, followed by a population of 31 to 40 years. It is indignant the way in which this legislative piece has been evaluated. These statistics are preoccupying the world, ”said Burgos Muñiz.

“It is not possible for Puerto Rico to continue to legislate to protect only the economic interests of a sector, taking into account the implications that mediocre tend to have in it, mental health and the poor economic development of our people. This legislation, without precedent over a rigorous process, is an imposition that will end all sectors of our society “finalized the también President of the Commission of Social Welfare, People with Disabilities and Adult Mayors.
