The NFL on Wednesday announced its compensatory pick for the 2021 draft, with the Dallas Cowboys receiving the most with four.

The Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers each received three compensatory picks. Two teams – the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams – received two compensatory selections from the third round.

The compensation formula is based on free agents who left teams before the 2020 season.

There have been 36 compensatory selections awarded to 17 clubs this year. The collective bargaining agreement limits the number of compensatory choices to the number of clubs in the league (32), but this year four choices have been added for teams that have a minority employee appointed by another club as head coach or head football manager (general) manager). They received remuneration in the form of a special draft choice in the third round of each of the following two drafts, or in each of the following three drafts if two minority workers of the employers’ club were appointed by another club or clubs for these posts . .
