COVID vaccine failure shows Cuomo and de Blasio’s disability

Once again, Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio prove their incapacity as leaders of New York – all talking and little action.

An analysis by Bloomberg News found that the state of New York administered only 32 percent of the vaccines. In New York City, it’s even worse: 25.4 percent.

De Blasio promised 1 million vaccines for New Yorkers in the coming months on Thursday. What has he been doing for the past few weeks?

Unfortunately, this is not just a local issue: Although

12.4 million doses of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines were distributed nationwide, only 3.1 million were given. But that does not absolve New York officials, especially if Cuomo does not eminently crown himself king of the coronavirus, and even write a book praising his own leadership.

Why are there no mass vaccination events? Where is the urgency?

Cuomo and de Blasio talk about equality, and now New Yorkers are learning what it means: to ensure that the vaccine is distributed in a fair and equitable way, no one should get it.
