NEW YORK CITY (WABC) – Costco will soon be offering COVID-19 vaccines in five states and Puerto Rico.

New York City is included among the new locations.

The membership-based retailer said it would fire shots as soon as they became available.

If you are a Costco member, you can not register for the opportunity.

Costco said there are only a limited number available, and that it will meet the eligibility guidelines in each state.

“Costco is determined to help protect the health and safety of our members and employees and serve our communities,” the company wrote in its announcement.

The stores in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island will receive the vaccine as soon as it is available.

Costco has asked its customers not to contact their local pharmacy to schedule appointments. Instead, customers should visit his website.
