Covid-19 Vaccine Information: There are as many as 600 daily appointments at the NY State Fair

Geddes, NY – Hundreds of Covid-19 appointments remained available at the New York State Fairgrounds during March and April, according to the state’s website last updated at 8 p.m. today.

Two other sites also had appointments: SUNY Potsdam and Plattsburgh International Airport.

To get a state appointment, go to the state’s “Am I Eligible” website 833-697-4829 to book an appointment.

I’m a senior? Can I just get one at Kinney Drugs?

You can make an appointment if you are 65 years or older. Kinney Drugs gives the vaccine at 75 stores in New York. Each store gets about 100 shots a week. The drug store chain makes the appointments available as the doses arrive. You can call for a notification from Kinney to know when the vaccine is in a store near you. Once you get the alert, you need to be online quickly to make the appointment.

How do I cancel an appointment?

If you made an appointment through the “Am I Eligible” website, you will receive a confirmation email. It has a cancellation call or a phone number to call: 1-833-697-4829.

The first 90 vaccines will be administered on Monday for this waiting list for seniors. The 90 people will be selected in the lottery style. Expect to receive the email notification today (Sunday) at 10:00.
