Press Release of the Humboldt County Joint Information Center:

Country receives more than 1600 additional vaccines

Humboldt County Public Health and its healthcare partners are expanding capacity at this week’s vaccination clinics after receiving 1,655 additional doses of COVID-19 vaccine from the Providence healthcare system, although overall supply remains limited.

Public Health and other approved local vaccines will use the additional doses at four large-scale clinics for an estimated total of 3,440 doses administered this week. Vaccinations are currently offered by invitation only. Right now, the best way is to notify residents of the province of an available appointment at a public health clinic, by filling out the online interest form.
