Press Release of the Humboldt County Joint Information Center:

Ten new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Humboldt County today, bringing the total number of locals who tested positive for the virus to 3,518.

Humboldt County is receiving 11,540 doses of COVID-19 vaccine for next week, including 2,700 Moderna, 650 Johnson & Johnson and 8,190 Pfizer. In addition to the regular allotment, the state offered 5,850 of the doses of Pfizer. Some will be distributed to neighboring countries, while the vast majority will be used at local mass vaccination clinics.

Humboldt County today opened the vaccination priority to anyone 16 years and older. Read more about requirements for 16- and 17-year-olds at https://humboldtgov.org/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=3866.

Sign up for an available vaccination appointment at myturn.ca.gov. If no appointments are displayed, check the website regularly for cancellations or upcoming clinics.
