COVID-19 Statistics | 20 April 2021 | Lost Coast Outpost

There are currently thousands of vaccine doses available at clinics this week, with opening hours every day from Wednesday.

Clinics are held in the Arcata Community Center, located at Dr Martin Luther King 321, 321 Pkwy, with opening hours from 6pm to 7pm Wednesday to Sunday. This availability is for those who want to seek their first or second dose.

Walk-ins are available on a first-come, first-served basis, though booking the appointment is the best way to ensure a vaccine is available whenever you want it. Spanish and English speakers are available at each clinic.

Appointments for the Moderna and Pfizer clinics can be made this week on MyTurn.ca.gov. If you are asked to enter ‘Your address or zip code’, residents of the country should only enter ‘Humboldt County’ on the ‘Let’s find an appointment’ page of the My Turn website, the third page of the appointment planner . This means that residents will import ‘Humboldt County’ at two different locations.

All residents of the province aged 16 and over can register, but 16- and 17-year-olds must register for the Pfizer vaccine only. Minors must have proof of age and be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The following clinics and vaccinations are available by appointment and for admission:

  • Wednesday – Modern (18 and older)
  • Thursday – Pfizer (16 and older)
  • Friday – Modern (18 and older)
  • Saturday – Pfizer (16 and older)
  • Sunday – Modern and Pfizer (16 and older)
