COVID-19 Statistics | 17 February 2021 | Lost Coast Outpost

Press Release of the Humboldt County Joint Information Center:

Twelve additional cases of COVID-19 were reported today. It has been established that one case previously recorded came from another country. The total number of Humboldt County residents who tested positive now stands at 3,036 residents.

As of Monday, February 15, the state has allocated 25,910 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to Humboldt County, including doses of both Pfizer and Moderna. Humboldt County Public Health and other locally approved vaccinators were able to extend the grant to administer a total of 25,923 doses.

The allocation of vaccines from this week’s state was delayed by winter storms, which had an effect on some clinics. Providers reach out to those affected by the delay.
