Director of Public Health Michele Stephens said: ‘We are making progress every day on this pandemic, and we are hopeful that we can build on it and get our community and our economy back on track. Keep covering a face, wash your hands regularly, avoid large gatherings and keep your distance. ‘

CDPH has also eased restrictions on various business sectors and activities. Starting Saturday, March 13, the state will allow breweries, wineries and distilleries that do not serve meals to reopen in the open air with safety adjustments in the press and red levels.

The updated state guidelines require advance reservations, limit the protectors to 90 minutes and must end consumption on the premises at 20:00. Businesses in this sector that serve meals should continue to follow the lead of restaurants. Bars remain closed in the red level.
