Under the plan, people over the age of 65 will be eligible for the vaccine in almost all local municipalities.
For people who are uncomfortable with the online sign-up process, states have developed their own call centers. But when you call the Delaware hotline, you get a busy tone.
Dr. Karyl Rattay, director of the Delaware Department of Public Health, said demand could not supply supply.
Group 1B vaccination category contains 200,000 Delaware and the state received only about 15,000 vaccines per week.

“We do not have nearly enough vaccine to serve this population,” Rattay said.
On day one of the launch of the website, 56,000 Delawareans requested an appointment with vaccine in Group 1B.
Rattay suggested that friends, family and neighbors help elderly people who are not comfortable registering for the vaccine online.
In Pennsylvania, you are asked to make a vaccination appointment using a map of providers on the state’s website.
In Philadelphia you can only express interest online, then the Department of Health will contact you.
“When people are eligible, we will contact them about how to make an appointment,” said Dr. Philadelphia Health Commissioner Thomas Farley said.
In Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, interest in receiving the vaccine is rising, but more doses are still needed.
“This morning, 80,000 people were pre-registered on our vaccine,” said Dr. Valarie Arkoosh, chairman of the board of commissioners in Montgomery County.
Chester County now includes Category 1B people who need to be vaccinated immediately. The country is updating forms of vaccine interests to reflect the changes.
In New Jersey, you can only reach a state health department by telephone next week.
In Camden County, appointments have already been booked until August. The appointments can be booked via the Cooper Hospital website, which can support 6,000 visitors per second.
If you would like to make an appointment, the Camden County Department of Health can be contacted at (800) 999-9045.
“We are going to vaccinate more than 1,000 (people per day) soon,” said Margarita Camacho, a public health nurse in Camden County.
Ruth Brodnick’s daughter joined her at Cooper Hospital’s website. After receiving her first dose, she is already scheduled for her second dose.
“Here I am, this is a wonderful day. This is a wonderful day for me and a wonderful day for our country,” Brodnick said.
