APPLETON, Wisconsin (WBAY) – A COVID-19 vaccination clinic has just opened for the Fox Cities next week.
Appleton city officials announced the opening of the clinic late Wednesday afternoon and said a news conference with more details regarding the clinic would be held Thursday afternoon.
According to city officials, the clinic will open on Feb. 2, and local health departments and health care systems have partnered to open the clinic.
The clinic is located in the Fox Cities Exhibition Center, located at 355 W. Lawrence Street in Appleton.
COVID-19 testing will be moved to Reid Golf Course after Monday, Feb. 1, at 1100 E. Fremont Street in Appleton.
The news conference on Thursday to announce more details about the clinic is scheduled for 4pm
Clinical leaders from Ascension Wisconsin and ThedaCare are expected to speak at the event, as well as members of the Outagamie Department of Public Health, the Department of Public Health of Appleton and the Mayor of Appleton, Jake Woodford.
