COVID-19: CVS extends vaccination sites to these sites in the Hudson Valley

With the newly approved vaccine Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 offering health officials an additional option to vaccinate those eligible, CVS has announced that its vaccination program will be expanded to nearly 150 locations in New York, including many in the Hudson Valley.

CVS Pharmacy, which has already received vaccine doses as part of the Federal Pharmacy Program, earmarked for specific chains, announced this week that it will increase its vaccination program due to an increased allocation of the vaccine.

Those who are eligible and interested in being vaccinated can now register for appointments. The schedule starts from Friday 5 March and the vaccinations are planned to start the next day.

In the Hudson Valley, CVS locations will plan COVID-19 vaccine appointments in:

  • Bedford Hills;
  • Briarcliff Manor;
  • Bronxville;
  • Croton-on-Hudson;
  • Eastchester;
  • Elmsford;
  • Harrison;
  • Katonah;
  • Larchmont;
  • Mamaroneck;
  • Mount Vernon;
  • New Rochelle;
  • Peekskill;
  • Rye;
  • Rogbroek;
  • Scarsdale;
  • Tarrytown;
  • Doringhout;
  • Yonkers.

Those eligible to receive the vaccine at CVS must be a New York resident over the age of 65. Teachers, day care and preschool workers and staff members are also eligible for the state.
