COVID-19: CVS extends vaccination sites to these Long Island sites

With the newly approved vaccine Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 offering health officials an additional option to vaccinate those who are eligible, CVS has announced that its vaccination program will be extended to nearly 150 other locations in New York, including many at Long Island.

CVS Pharmacy, which has already received vaccine doses as part of the Federal Pharmacy Program, earmarked for specific chains, announced this week that it will increase its vaccination program due to an increased allocation of the vaccine.

Those who are eligible and interested in being vaccinated can now register for appointments. The schedule starts from Friday 5 March and the vaccinations are planned to start the next day.
