COVID-19: Brand New Study Compares Side Effects of Pfizer, Modern Vaccine Receivers

Those who took the Modern COVID-19 vaccine reported more side effects than those who received a dose of Pfizer, according to a new study.

Based on data from more than three million vaccine recipients collected from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), it has been determined that nearly 70 percent of those studied report minor side effects such as fatigue or colds.

Of those reporting side effects, the researchers found that more participants who were affected received the Moderna vaccine compared to the Pfizer vaccine.

According to the study, 73 percent of those who received the Moderna shot said they had a reaction at the injection site, while 65 percent received a dose of Pfizer with a side effect.

Nearly 51 percent of Moderna recipients reported experiencing body symptoms, compared with 48 percent of those who received the Pfizer shot, the study found. Nearly 51 percent of Moderna recipients had whole-body symptoms, while 48 percent of those who took the Pfizer shot reported similar reactions.

The report contains data from more than 3.6 million people who received at least one dose of COVID-19 before Sunday 21 February and completed a health survey on v-safe within seven days, a CDC program that monitors vaccination responses .

Nearly 82 percent of people who received their second Moderna vaccine have injection site pain, compared with less than 69 percent of those with Pfizer.

In total, 74 percent of Moderna recipients said they experienced symptoms from the body, compared to 64 percent of people who received the Pfizer vaccine.

‘A greater percentage of participants who received the Moderna vaccine, compared to the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, reported reactogenicity; this pattern was more pronounced after the second dose, ”said researchers.
