Country singer Taylor Dee has died at the age of 33.

A rep at the Euless City Police Department confirmed to Fox News that the ‘Greener Grass’ singer died Sunday after a car crash on State Highway 183 near Euless, Texas.

Police said they arrived at the scene around 10:05 p.m. to find the Dee – born Taylor Dawn Carroll – in a serious condition some distance outside the vehicle.

A 36 years [sic.] man, who was also an occupant of the vehicle, was found outside the vehicle with non-life-threatening injuries, ”reads the release.

“Investigators have determined that the Chevrolet Trailblazer was trying to make a sudden lane change to leave the TEXpress lane when it crashed into a cushion,” the statement said. “The impact caused the Trailblazer to slam into the air and hit a vertical steel road sign with its roof before coming to rest upside down on the highway.”

Authorities believe Dee was driving the car and was not wearing a seat belt and that alcohol may be a contributing factor.

They added: “The investigation is currently underway, but it does not appear that there will be criminal charges in connection with the collision.”

According to online records from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office, she died in a hospital at 10:52 p.m.

Her cause and manner of death are still to come. She is planning an autopsy.

A representative of the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for further comment.

A GoFundMe was created after Dee’s death, with Karla Terrell as the beneficiary. It is currently unclear who Terrell is regarding Dee, but the page asks, “Help our family get her to rest.”

According to the online fundraiser, the singer had two children.

“She will be loved and missed forever,” the page said. ‘She left this world earlier [sic.] any of us were ready for it. ‘

Texas Country Music Association president Linda Wilson paid tribute to the musical up-and-comer in a statement to a local CBS store.

“Taylor Dee was a real thing – a real talent with a heart and passion not only for her music but also for people,” she said. “In every performance, her talent was clear, but more importantly, she allowed her fans to know her heart. She will be greatly missed.”
