Veteran WWE Superstar John Cena recently told Sports Illustrated that “there is no mathematical way” that he could be on WrestleMania 37 this year. Cena noted that its filming schedule for The peacemaker series for HBO Max in Vancouver makes it impossible to attend the event.
On the latest installment of the WWE After the Bell podcast, host Corey Graves discusses whether he believes Cena or not. Graves feels that Cena should be there and he thinks he will find a way to influence the show to some extent.
“I’m not buying it,” Graves said. ‘Because it must be John Cena at WrestleMania to some extent. There’s a lot of truth in what he says, it makes sense, I understand it. But there was also a guy as recently as the Royal Rumble last year told everyone he is not coming back under any circumstances. Yes, Edge, the man who just won the Royal Rumble, did the same. ‘
Cena told Jimmy Fallon that although he can not attend WrestleMania, he plans to return to WWE as soon as possible. Graves feels that Cena are fans and will eventually turn up for the big event.
“It’s throwing people off track. I’m fine, I love it,” Graves said. ‘If that’s what John Cena does and everyone plays like dolls, I support it. I do not believe John Cena has a role at WrestleMania. I believe John Cena will be there. ”
