Conor McGregor-Dustin Poirier hosts the capacity crowd at UFC 264 in Las Vegas

Uana President Dana White announced Wednesday that there will be a crowd at UFC 264 on July 10 in Las Vegas. The pay-per-view card is held in the T-Mobile Arena and the title is presented through the trilogy battle between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier.

“I signed an agreement this morning,” McGregor told ESPN’s Ariel Helwani on Wednesday. “I’m going to rip this game a new a-hole July 10th. The Mac is back in Sin City! Full house!”

McGregor plans to bounce back from his second TKO loss to Poirier at UFC 257 in January. He previously beat Poirier in 2014.

“I’m so glad I can finally say Vegas is back,” White said in his tweeted video. “This summer, Las Vegas is open for business again and on July 10, UFC 264 is at 100% capacity at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Ladies and gentlemen, there are 20,000 fans.”

White’s tweet comes a day after the Nevada government, Steve Sisolak, announced a goal to remove social distance restrictions by May 1 and reach 100% capacity nationwide by June 1.

The UFC has held events in Vegas, Florida and Fight Island (in Abu Dhabi) since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. UFC 261 on April 24 has three title fights and is being held in Jacksonville, Florida. It will be the first pay-per-view with a multitude of capacity since March 2020.
