Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier fight officially launched at full capacity days after charity spit

The UFC fight between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor is officially on July 10, Dana White said Wednesday, a few days after McGregor sparked the fight over allegations that he stiffened Poirier on a donation to his charity.

White made the announcement on Twitter, adding that the third match between the two fighters will take place in front of a full crowd of 20,000 fans.

“I’m so glad I can finally say Vegas is back,” he said. “This summer, Las Vegas is open for business again and on July 10, UFC 264 is at 100% capacity at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Ladies and gentlemen, there are 20,000 fans.”

McGregor tweeted on Monday that the fight was called off after Poirier accused him of stiffening himself with a donation to his charity after their fight in January. The two agreed that whoever won the battle would donate money to the other’s charity of their choice.

“A donation, not a debt. We have been waiting for the plans for the money that never came,” McGregor responded on Twitter. “I do with all my donations. Know where it’s going for spot. Otherwise it’s going. As is the case with many of these foundations, alas. You took the McG over the tire and showed that I was right.”

“There’s never a 100% debt. You offered, we accepted, and like I said, your team never responded to our emails about the process by which funds would be put to work,” “Poirier fired back.

“My team is doing their best to make sure every donation reaches the point. My generosity is known,” McGregor replied. “You will pay with your brain for this attempt to smear my name. If you shoot an * a * sb — h. Small b — h kicks out of a shell. Good luck if you get caught. You ‘re f – ked. ”

McGregor posted another tweet that put off the fight, but on Wednesday he tweeted a promotion for July 10th again.

He also told ESPN shortly thereafter: “I signed my bolt deal this morning. I’m going to rip this game a new a-hole July 10th. The Mac is back in Sin City! Full house!”

July will be the third battle between the two. Poirier knocked McGregor out during their final fight.
