‘Concert Leak’ correctly predicted Xenoblade 2 rep, predicts last two challengers heading to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 2

Pyra & Mythra was recently revealed to be heading to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate comes as the two-in-one fourth challenger of the Fighters Pass Vol. 2. More information regarding these Xenoblade Chronicles 2 teams will be announced during the upcoming presentation of the Sakurai Presents starting on March 4, 2021 – this following Thursday.

About a month after the unveiling of Sephiroth as the character cast after Super Smash Bros. Ultimate comes after Minecraft’s Steve, an anonymous poster on 4chan could correctly predict that the next newcomer would come from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The post in question also delivered very blatant. tips on the next two challengers following the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 rep – which we are now both Pyra & Mythra as a two-in-one fighter who can freely change into each other.

“Nintendo is currently planning to host a live, three-hour concert in 2022 where a symphony orchestra will play orchestrated versions of songs featured in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate,” the anonymous poster said. “This event will be held in Japan after the completion of the second Fighters Pass and take all necessary precautions to make this event happen. They will stream the event live on YouTube for everyone around the world. Eventually Nintendo will distribute a soundtrack on the My Nintendo Service. “

Following this, they provided a list of songs that would presumably be played during the three-hour event. It seems that every character in Super Smash Bros.Ultimate (with one exception) gets a portion of the time on it, with the symphony orchestra playing a song that emphasizes the character. The main themes for Super Smash Bros. 64, Melee, Brawl, Smash 4 and Ultimate will also be mixed by the concert.

For example themes like “Jump up, Superstar!” would be performed for Mario, “Main Theme – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” would be performed for Link, “Open Your Heart” would be played for Sonic, “Meta Knight’s Revenge” would be played for Meta Knight, ” “Vampire Killer” would be played for Simon Belmont, “One-Winged Angel” would be played for Sephiroth, and so on.

What’s strange about this list is how Street Fighter’s Ken is completely absent. Other Echo Fighters like Lucina, Dark Pit, Daisy and Richter apparently have songs that emphasize their presence in Smash. Maybe the poster accidentally left Ken out?

The song that was listed as “One-Winged Angel” was “Counterattack – Xenoblade Chronicles 2.” With the exception of Piranha Plant, every DLC character featured at Super Smash Bros. expands. Ultimate Out is, the game’s already massive library of musical tracks out. Notably, ‘Counterattack’ was one of the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 themes played during the Pyra & Mythra preview.

The two songs listed after ‘Counterattack – Xenoblade Chronicles 2’ and before the ‘Galeem / Dharkon’ theme are ‘N. Sanity Beach’ and ‘Proof of a Hero’ – themes from the Crash Bandicoot and Monster respectively Hunter franchises came.

Since there is already Monster Hunter content in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, ‘Proof of a Hero’ is already in the game, though it’s likely to become a sort of remix if a Monster Hunter representative is added to the game. .

It is worth noting that the only DLC Mii costume parts that have not yet returned from Smash 4 are the Lloyd Irving parts from Tales of Symphonia and the Monster Hunter costume parts. If Monster Hunter is really planned, then this is probably the only opportunity to get these Mii costume parts for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate re-release.

Rumors of an uncontrollable “five-year plan” document for Crash Bandicoot suggest Crash is plagued for his debut in the Super Smash Bros. series in 2021. Other plans that were presumably on the list included the concepts of a Crash Team Racing included. remake and a new Crash Bandicoot game (Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time) – both of which happened.

A concert of these relationships implies some finality for Super Smash Bros.Ultimate, which probably means there is no Fighters Pass Vol. 3. It does fit with what Masahiro Sakurai said earlier about the ongoing development since Smash 4 after the conclusion of the Fighters Pass Vol. 2.

Nintendo will likely need permission from all intellectual property owners to deduct such a thing. In addition, the symphony orchestra needs time to rehearse this three-hour concert, giving possible explanations as to why this poster would have this information. It all comes down to being a big business that will make it hard for Nintendo to be discreet.

As always, it is important to record all rumors with a grain of salt, as there were many similar “leaks” that stated that Dante, Ryu Hayabusa, Doom Guy and many others had to come to Smash as well.
