Colorado to extend admission to COVID-19 vaccinations

DENVER (AP) – State officials in Colorado have said additional frontline workers and people with multiple chronic health conditions could start being eligible for COVID-19 vaccines next week.

The Denver Post reported Tuesday that the Department of Public Health and the Environment in Colorado has confirmed that the state expects to move to the next phase of its vaccination plan on or after March 5, but did not provide details on when everyone in the phase eligibility would not come.

The new phase will include frontline workers in several industries, including the U.S. Postal Service, grocery stores and public transportation.

It will also spread to people with two or more high-risk health conditions, including cancer, diabetes and Down syndrome.
