COLlive adds telegram to large social media presence

The Telegram messaging app marked a sudden increase in downloads after major rival WhatsApp announced it would enable Facebook Inc and its subsidiaries to collect user data, including their phone number and location.

According to data analytics firm Sensor Tower, Telegram has garnered nearly 2.2 million downloads and 100,000 users have installed a similar Signal app.

In response to increasing requests, COLlive.com, the leading news service of the Chabad community based in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights, has opened an account on Telegram Messenger where it will post important news alerts and stories of the day.
