CoD: Black Ops Cold War new patch notes: Express and Firebase Z cards

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarThe first season has been around for almost two months, but Treyarch is tracking things down with an update that adds some new maps to the game. Multiplayer gets Express, a remake of the Black Ops 2 map, while Zombies gets the new Firebase Z map in Vietnam.

Express is located in a deserted train station, where players can fight in luggage compartment, train tunnels and on the train tracks themselves. The card is not too big, which helps to keep matches fast and hold firefights regularly. To make sure players have a chance to check the rebuilt card, Treyarch adds an Express 24/7 playlist Black Ops Cold War, which each time only contains Express with a different game mode.

The other great addition to this patch is Firebase Z, the new Zombies card. The map is in the jungles of Vietnam on a secret Cold War research base. Things, of course, went wrong somewhere along the way, unleashing Dark Aether and the dead’s hordes in the base. In addition to new weapons, new enemies, and the laundry list of secrets and Easter eggs that the card is likely to have, there is also a new perk called Tombstone that gives players the chance to come back to life after being killed.

Finally, Treyarch also announced that League Play will be coming Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on February 8th. League of Call is the multiplayer position of Call of Duty, which can encourage players in more competitive games to earn ranks to show off their skills. League Play games contain more specific matches, which ensures that you are placed close to your rank with players, and that allows players to advance or decline their rank with each win or loss.
