Limit up, coffee lovers and Coke fans.

A combination drink from Coca-Cola offers a new way to get a caffeine solution.

As of Monday, Coca-Cola with coffee and Coca-Cola with coffee zero sugar are available nationwide in ready-to-drink coffee corridors in stores, the company said. The new drinks, which are served with Brazilian coffee, were first announced in July.

“A lot of people are regularly torn between a cool drink or coffee at 3pm at work, school or on the go,” Brandan Strickland, Coca-Cola brand director of trade, said in a news release. You do not have to leave Coca-Cola to get your coffee ready. ‘

Coca-Cola with coffee is available in three flavors – dark blend, vanilla and caramel – while the sugar-free, calorie-zero, dark blend and vanilla version comes.

All 12-gram cans contain 69 mg of caffeine, while Coca-Cola states that the same dose of a cola contains 34 mg and a diet coke 46 mg of caffeine. The average cup of coffee contains 95 mg of caffeine.

There are 70 calories in the Coca-Cola with coffee, half the calories in a can of regular 12 ounce cola. A single can of new coffee is sold for about $ 2.32, the company said.

The US is the 50th market to introduce Coca-Cola with coffee, first launched in 2018 in Japan. The company says it fits the recipe in every country to ‘meet local tastes’.

This is not the first time Coca-Cola has drunk a soft drink with coffee in the United States. Coca-Cola Black was launched in 2006, but was discontinued two years later. Some reviews of the product have said that the drink has a cruel aftertaste.

Coca-Cola says in its preliminary consumer testing, more than 80% of consumers who tried the new product would buy it.

Caleb Bryant, co-director of food and beverage at global market research firm Mintel, told USA TODAY that ready-to-drink coffee is one of the fastest growing beverage categories and is especially popular among Millennials and Gen Z. Alcohol categories have also faded together, said Bryant.

“This is an excellent example of a beverage that fades carbonated soft drinks and coffee,” he said of Coke’s new product.

Rival Pepsi also planned to release its own soda with coffee in 2020, but said in a statement to the US TODAY that the huge consumer demand for its core and existing portfolio had an impact on the launch of Pepsi Café Original and Pepsi Café Vanilla. The company said it wants to expand new fragrances by 2021.

Last week, Greek yogurt company Chobani announced new ready-to-drink cold coffee in bottles. The coffee is available in four flavors.

Store Closures 2021: Godiva will close its boutiques by the end of March. Chocolate will be sold online, other stores.
