CNN’s Charlie Chester says the network has spread ‘propaganda’ against Trump

A CNN staffer admitted in a video recorded in secret that his network had produced ‘propaganda’ to oust former President Donald Trump during the 2020 presidential election – and boasted of their success.

Charlie Chester, a technical director of the cable network, was filmed by Project Veritas during a series of fake Tinder dates when he explained how they got Trump out of office.

‘Look what we did, we [CNN] got Trump out. I’m going to say it 100 percent, and I believe 100 percent that if it were not for CNN, I do not know that Trump would be voted out, ‘Chester said, adding that he came to work for CNN. because he ‘wanted to be a part of it’.

“Our focus was to get Trump out of office, right? Without saying it, this is what it was. ”

Chester explained how they overdramatize Trump health issues by bringing in medical experts.

‘[Trump’s] the hand trembled or whatever, I think. We brought in so many medical people to tell everyone a story that was speculated – that he was neurologically damaged and that he was losing it. He’s incapable of – you know – whatever. We were making a story there of which we know nothing. I think it is propaganda, “he said.

Asked if he and CNN were concerned about Joe Biden’s health during the election, Chester said the network had that in mind.

‘To run him is of course a departure from his age and it is [CNN] try to make it like, ‘Oh, I’m healthy,’ ‘Chester said.

The date was asked, “What do you mean?”

‘We will always show shots of him [Biden] jog and it [he’s] healthy, you know, and he in pilot shades. Like painting him as a young geriatrics, ‘Chester replies.

A source close to CNN said that Project Veritas targeted Chester through the dating app Tinder because its profile, according to Mediaite, said he worked for CNN.

The project Veritas employee, who has not been identified and claims to be a nurse, carried on five appointments with a wire, including the last one at a coffee shop in Chester’s area. It is unclear when the dates occurred.

Chester said on his ‘date’ that he would be fine with it if Biden died, because he thought Vice President Kamala Harris was ‘real’. ‘

“I had so many arguments, like: my dad would be, ‘You know, you vote in Kamala Harris because he’s going to die in the presidency,’ Chester told the woman. “And I’m like, ‘He’s not going to die. “But I’m OK with that. That’s fine with me. She could probably have a board meeting, and you would hate her as a boss, but she’s real and better than what we got regardless. ‘

Chester was asked if CNN had covered that Biden had tripped when he walked up the stairs.

“But you talk about it briefly. You are not making it a big story, ”he said.

CNN did not respond to requests for comment from The Post.

Biden was criticized during the late summer and early fall of 2020 for restricting public actions as part of its coronavirus pandemic security measures.

He consulted his campaign officers and participated in interviews from a studio he built in the basement of his home in Wilmington, Del.

During one of the meetings with his ‘date’, Chester spoke about how CNN also targeted anti-Trump voters by focusing on climate change and adding ‘selling fear’.

‘I think there’s a COVID fatigue. So, just like when a new story appears, it is [CNN’s] going to get stuck. “They have already announced in our office that once the public is open to it – we will focus mainly on climate,” said Chester.

‘It’s going to be us [CNN’s] focus. Like our focus was to get Trump out of office, right? Without saying it, this is what it was, right? Our next thing will therefore be aware of climate change, ”he added.

“What does it look like?” Chester was asked.

“I do not know. I’m not sure. I have a feeling it’s going to be, to constantly show videos of declines in ice and warming, and like the impact it has on the economy,” Chester said.

When asked who makes the decision, he says the “head of the network”, referring to Jeff Zucker.

“I imagine he has his advice and that everyone likes it, discuss it, like where they think,” he said.

He then said that the new focus would be on a “p-anemic story that would kill us, but that one has the long life.”

‘As if there is a definite end to the pandemic. This will decrease to a point that it is no longer a problem. Climate change can take years, and so will they [CNN will] probably it can milk quite a bit, ”he said.
