Claudia Conway, the daughter of former White House adviser Kellyanne Conway, will be appearing on the upcoming season of ‘American Idol’, according to a new ad aired during Monday night’s broadcast of ‘The Bachelor’.
The 16-year-old became a major social media presence last year when she openly expressed her contempt for her mother’s employer and her conservative politics. Over the past year, Conway has regularly presented excerpts from her life with her parents.
In November, Conway announced that she had auditioned for the show via TikTok and posted a lip-sync video with her father, George Conway, founder of the anti-Trump conservative group The Lincoln Project.
In her latest TikTok, she confirmed to her 1.7 million followers that her audition will air on Sunday, February 13, and ‘American Idol’ confirmed to Insider that she would be a part of the premiere of the season.
‘I know that half the world considers me a joke because of my parents and whatever bulls —. I’m just a 16 year old with passions, and you know the future is trying to figure out. really a good opportunity. A very cool opportunity that I immediately went with, because when ‘American Idol’ reaches out to you, you do not say no, ‘she said.
Earlier this year, Conway posted several TikToks that appear to have her mother yelling at her, claiming she suffered physical and emotional abuse.
“I do not want to hate my mother, I think it is important to tell my side of the story and my experience,” she said in a follow-up TikTok. “I just went through a few videos, I did hundreds and hundreds of videos just like that. I thought it was important because as a woman who has such power in this country, I don’t think people know what she’s like.”

In late January, Kellyanne Conway is accused of sharing a nude photo of her daughter, taken from Claudia’s phone, asking New Jersey police to investigate, according to the New York Post.
After the incident, Claudia posted a TikTok saying, “We’re going to handle it privately, and I’ll never talk about it in public.”
