City officials announced Saturday that New Yorkers 50 and older can get a COVID-19 vaccine at any vaccination site run by the city.
In the Bronx, the city currently manages stands at Bronx Co-Op City Dreiser Community Center, the Northeast Bronx YMCA (Edenwald), the South Bronx Education Campus, the West Bronx Gymnasium, Lehman College’s Apex Center and Bathgate Contract Postal Station, which ‘ a 24-hour website.
In Brooklyn, the city currently operates sites at the Coney Island YMCA, Teachers Prep High School in Brownsville, Starrett City, the Flatbush YMCA, Bushwick Educational Campus, the event space at City Point in downtown Brooklyn, and the Brooklyn Army Terminal, which ‘ a 24-hour site.
In Manhattan, the city currently manages sites at the Ford Foundation, the NFL Experience Times Square, Yeshiva University, City College, Essex Crossing, Abyssinian Baptist Church and the Fulton Senior Community Center / Hudson Guild.
In Queens, the city currently operates sites at Models in the Queens Center Mall, Korean Community Services, Beach Channel Education Campus, Long Island City Vaccine Site (Plaxall), the Flushing Library and the Ozone Library, as well as CitiField, which operates a 24-hour site. .
On Staten Island, the city currently operates sites at the former Babies R Us in the Staten Island Mall, the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex, Empire Outlets and the St. Thomas-St. Joseph’s School.
All participants will need to show their ID to register and confirm their age. Dates and times of availability vary by website, so visit the city’s website for more information. The sites are for this week only and will be updated weekly.

“Our priority for the next few months is clear: we need to vaccinate as many New Yorkers as possible,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said in a statement Saturday. “By making it easier to vaccinate New Yorkers 50 and older, we are on track to fully vaccinate five million New Yorkers by June.”
Appointments are still available to New Yorkers who are 16 years or older, via nyc.gov/vaccinefinder or by calling 877-VAX-4NYC (877-829-4692).
“We aim to open as many doors as possible for vaccination,” said Dr. Health Commissioner Dave A. Chokshi said in a statement. ‘We are glad that the vaccine is now as easy as walking in the park. Our staff is ready to serve New Yorkers. ”
To date, the city has administered 5.6 million doses.
