Christina Anstead unveils new Maya Angelou-inspired back tattoo amid the tear of her husband Ant: ‘Still I Rise’

Christina Anstead takes a page from Maya Angelou on the way she’s navigating life in 2021.

The “Flip or Flop” star, who filed for divorce from her second husband, Ant Anstead, in November after less than two years of marriage, revealed some new ink to her fans via Instagram on Tuesday with the famous words of the famous poet, “Still I stand up.”

“Just like moons and like suns, with the certainty of tides, just like the hope that jumps high, I will still rise. Still, I will rise,” the 37-year-old posted a caption on inspiring social media on Tuesday. she presented her new exhibition. tattoo, written in the middle of her back in writing.

The mother of three children also attributed the late Angelou, who died in May 2014, to the words spoken by civil rights and women activists.

In November, Anstead opened up in a post on social media about her challenging year.

“2020 is certainly not at all what I imagined – not even close – but I think there are so many lessons in all this madness,” the HGTV personality wrote. “Spiritual healing has been my passion for years, and I look forward to diving deep into it. Despite a lot of shit, there have been many magical times.”

In the report, Anstead maintained that she is determined to go deeper to find herself and ensure her happiness while still keeping her 1-year-old son Hudson, who she shares with Ant, with her parent, while also still her daughter remains as a co-parent.
