Chrissy Teigen slammed the inaugural tweet ‘tone-deaf’

Chrissy Teigen can do nothing right these days.

The former Sports Illustrated model is once again taking heat on social media – this time in support of her husband John Legend who was invited to perform during the inauguration ceremony of President Joe Biden.

The consecutive series, which includes Garth Brooks, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga and Bruce Springsteen, among others, recorded their performances for television audiences on Tuesday.

But despite the star-studded presidential transition, not everyone was on the celebrity caravan in DC – with the city still caught up in the January 6 riots at the Capitol.

Teigen, a big supporter of Biden during the election, tweeted on Tuesday about her family’s excitement for their trip to the White House: ‘Happy packing for inauguration,’ wrote the 35-year-old, along with a photo of her son Miles having an uncomfortable fat lip before the event.

But some followers found their happiness offensive.

‘Hello residents of Chrissy DC are not very’ happy ‘at the moment and can not even’ happily pack ‘their cars to drive to the grocery store due to the military state in which the city is, but yes, LOL comes in especially’ a pandemic. . How happy !!! ” tweeted @staceybrnan.

When another fan pointed out that Teigen and her family had no share in the Capitol storm, @staceybrnan called the double author of ‘Cravings’ ‘deaf’ because he traveled to DC – ‘when John’ do a performance, do no one will even be able to see. ”

“It’s all a privilege and really minimizes what DC is going on,” she said.

Teigen stops for a photo shoot with National Guard in DC – ‘real heroes’, she calls them on Twitter.

Viewers will be able to watch the show of the singer “Ordinary People” – tonight on various television networks as well as on social media platforms. But @staceybrnan will have none of that.

“Why could he not do a virtual performance, and also why should his whole family go when literally no one can move in the city?” she asked. “She needs to turn on the TV,” she concluded, referring to Teigen and her family.

Then Teigen stepped in again. “For the sake of why you are always angry with me,” she complained. “All I want to do is make you happy or leave you with a neutral sense of indifference.”

Many fans, including residents of DC, came to Teigen’s defense against the DC’s privileged watchdog.

‘Please do not speak on behalf of DC residents. Thanksssss, ”he said @ZeroACento.

“Some people choose to be absolutely mean for no reason,” @ aliberk65 answered in the thread. ‘I feel sorry for them. I’m sorry for those who have to be around them. So much hate in their hearts. ”

‘It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and a historic moment. She has the ability to show off her children as the first female woman ever – someone who looks like them! – become the VP! They will always remember it. I live in DC and it’s struggling. [Don’t] miss your anger on her, ” added @kerirulz.

Teigen does not seem to allow the criticism on her – and she’s just as excited to see Biden sworn in as the 81 million other Americans who voted for him.

And, just like us, she’s very excited about J.Lo.

In a series of videos she saw outside the DC hotel window on Wednesday morning watching events unfold, she exclaims, “Breaking news, breaking news: This is J.Lo and A.Rod!”
