“We accept that,” Chrissy said of her son’s character.
“I think more men need to embrace their emotions,” she continued. “I think it’s really important in this world. That it’s OK to cry, and that it’s OK to be upset about something or to be sad about something. We’re going through it and it’s OK.”
“John is so good at showing them how he treats me, how to be a good husband, how to be a good father,” she added. “It’s great to see.”
Chrissy shared the photo on Instagram last month and joked in the caption that Miles crashed her thirsty photo shoot.
And while many commentators praised the photo, saying it was the reality of being a mom to a toddler, it drew criticism from several others, who said it was “inappropriate” and suggested Chrissy “better boundaries” “with her child.
“If we do not teach little boys that women’s bodies are shameful, they will not grow up to think that they are so,” one commenter wrote. “Love how open you are with your parenting style / moments!”
