One of the many things we admire about Chrissy Teigen is her willingness to share her story with her fans, even the moments that are incredibly painful. It was months ago that Teigen reported the devastating news that she and her husband John Legend had tragically lost their baby Jack, and since then she has shared her grieving process in such a brave way. According to her Instagram story, Jack would be the expiration date, and she shared the sweet and intimate way she kept him close to her heart: a bracelet with his name spelled out, worn along with matching bracelets for Miles and Luna.
Teigen wrote, “today was your deadline. we love you forever💜 ”at the top of the photo of her wrist, with the name bracelets for each of her children next to other jewelry.

This is hardly the only way Teigen has kept Jack’s memory alive – she also got a tattoo of his name along with that of her family.
She was also candid about the problems she was still going through: as she approached the week of Jack’s expiration date, she also admitted that she felt like a baby kick on her stomach.

“My little Jack would be born this week, so I’m a little off,” she wrote on Twitter. ‘I really feel kicks in my belly, but it’s not ghostly. I had surgery for endometriosis tomorrow … but the period this month feels like is exactly like baby bumps. sigh. ”
Although Teigen can often be criticized for her personal posts, her words and continued advocacy to normalize topics such as miscarriage and stillbirth have meant so much to so many others who have suffered in silence.
