Chris Wallace thanks Buttigieg for fake jobs: “Why People Deceive?”

Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace slammed Transport Secretary Pete Buttigieg on Sunday for exaggerating the number of jobs created by President Biden’s proposal of $ 2 trillion plus spending.

Wallace noted that Buttigieg and other Biden administration officials overestimated the number of jobs created by Biden’s “American Jobs Plan” last Sunday, and then asked, “Why are people misleading?”

“You were right. I should have been more precise, ‘said Buttigieg.

Buttigieg then tried to turn down the projected number of jobs by saying that more than 2 million more jobs would be created with the “infrastructure” plan than if there was no plan.

Wallace said there was a big difference between 2 million jobs and 19 million jobs, which Buttigieg asked to say that it is very important that Americans know that 2.7 million jobs are going to be created. He then asks Buttigieg if he agrees that he and other Biden administration officials are exaggerating the ‘impact on work’.

During an appearance on NBC’s “Meet The Press” last Sunday, Buttigieg claims that Moody’s estimates that the Biden plan will create 19 million jobs. The director of the National Economic Council, Brian Deese, also pushed the point of discussion on ‘Fox News Sunday’ last week.

On Sunday, Buttigieg claimed that there were a number of analyzes on the spending plan that created the estimate of millions of jobs, but Wallace pointed out that Buttigieg was the one who quoted an analysis from Moody’s.

“Secretary, you’re the one who called Moody’s Analytics 19 million, and it’s actually 2.7 million, which’s a lot, but that’s not what you said,” Wallace said.

“It’s part of a scenario that, according to Moody, will create 19 million jobs, but the key is that it will add jobs and it’s a direct refutation of people saying otherwise,” Buttigieg said. “So yeah, you were right, I have to be very precise. The difference in posts suggested by the specific analysis is 2.7 million more. It’s a great place to be.”
