After the 66-year-old actor asked him to break his silence on whether he should change his role as Mr. Big would repeat, he implied recent rumors that he would not be involved.
“Well, if Page Six says that … it must be true,” he replied to an Instagram follower on Sunday with a wink emoji.

Last week it was reported that the recharge currently being developed for HBO Max will not contain its iconic character.
Insiders told Page Six that Noth will not be in the reboot And Just Like That again, which airs on HBO Max in a series of ten episodes that revisit the hit franchise.
Noth appears in the role, which was the boyfriend and later husband of Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker in the show and in subsequent films.

In the storyline of the series, Bradshaw and Mr. Big dated through the course of the series and traded vows in the 2008 film, while dealing with marital accidents in the sequel of 2010.
Noth continues to pursue other endeavors, appearing in shows such as The Equalizer, with two films in pre-production: Brooklyn All American and Someday Sometime.
David Eigenberg, who plays Steve Brady, is the romantic interest of Cynthia Nixon’s character Miranda Hobbes, according to the outlet. and series of regular Kim Cattrall, amid bad blood with Parker.

Parker opened earlier this month about the origins of the new project in a pre-recorded track that virtually benefits the Central Park Conservancy’s Playpark Partners program, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
She said the idea initially came up ‘during the shelter in place’ amid the outbreak of COVID-19.
‘I mean around April or May … I was listening to a podcast and it came to my mind [showrunner] “Michael Patrick King and I have never talked about our experience in producing the program,” said Parker.
She added that the idea of a procedure podcast went to an extension of the popular series, this time dealing with contemporary issues brought about by the pandemic.
Noth keeps busy with other endeavors and appears in programs like The Equalizer with Queen Latifah
“New York is closed in a way that affects many other people as well, because it’s the center of finance, it’s the center of culture, one could argue, and its silence was deafening,” she said. ‘All of these conversations became a big part of our experience in our homes, and Michael was just really interested.

Production of the project is expected to begin this spring.
