MUMBAI – Dramatic video shows a child falling on the Satuday railway track and being rescued, just seconds before a train arrives at a station in India.
The country’s Ministry of Railways released a video on Monday showing the child falling on the tracks at Vangani station in Mumbai.
A Good Samaritan:
At Central Railway’s Vangani station, Chief Mayur Shelkhe saved the life of a child just at that moment. He put his life on the line to save the child’s life.

While watching a train move towards the station, Mayur Shelkhe, a railway employee, swipes in to save the child before the train passes, CNN reports.
“We salute his exemplary courage and utmost dedication to duty,” the ministry said of Shelkhe.
