After the game on Sunday night, head coach Andy Reid told reporters that “it does not look too good with his Achilles” and he confirmed the news later Monday afternoon.

The Chiefs will not only be without Fisher for their Super Bowl clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but there is a chance that right-back Mitchell Schwartz will also miss the game with a back injury.

As a team, the Bucs got away with five bags, but Barrett and Pierre-Paul all made it out. Barrett struck Rodgers three times and Pierre-Paul fired him twice. The Packers had David Bakhtiari without All-Pro left-back, and the Bucs front-7 were able to capitalize on their lack of protection for Rodgers.
