Chester Bennington’s widow, Talinda, pays homage to the singer on his 45th birthday: ‘Life without you will never be easier’

Chester Bennington’s widow, Talinda, posted a video on her Instagram account to commemorate her late husband’s 45th birthday.

In her video, the Linkin Park singer was seen dancing with his son Tyler while PSY’s hit Gangnam Style played in the background.

The musician’s widow also wrote a short message in the headline to let her fans know how much her late husband means to her and the couple’s children.

Bennington began by writing, “Happy Birthday … You would have been 45 and yes, Tyler would have wanted you to do this dance again!”

She continues: ‘This life without you never gets easier or less painful. We miss you very much. We will celebrate you in so many ways today. ‘

The singer’s widow concluded her message with: ‘Tyler teaches the girls and I this dance will be just one. We love you forever. ‘

The former Playboy model and Linkin Park frontman were first romantically linked in 2004.

The couple untied the knot in 2006 and shared a boy named Tyler, 15, as well as twins Lily and Lila, both nine years old.

Prior to his involvement with his second wife, Bennington was married to Samantha Marie Olit from 1996 to 2005; the couple welcomed a boy named Draven, currently 18 years old, during their marriage.

The musician also shared a son named Jaime with Elka Brand; he also adopted Brand’s son from a previous relationship.

Bennington died of suicide unexpectedly in July 2017, not long after Linkin Park released their seventh studio album, One More Light.

After the death of their frontman, the band undertook a long hiatus to mourn the passing of their former bandmate, which lasted until April last year.

During the month, bassist Dave ‘Phoenix’ Farrell of the group said in an interview that there was new music going on, although members were working separately due to the circumstances of the global pandemic.

The following January, Linkin Park released a remix of their debut single, One Step Closer, which was adapted by the hyperpop act 100 gec.

The group then revealed that they would be collaborating with several other artists to offer their fans new interpretations of their songs in the past, in the same vein as their 2001 remix album Reanimation.
