Cheryl Burke apologizes to Ian Ziering for the “Nasty” comments from the past

Cheryl Burke has publicly apologized for past comments on former Dancing With The Stars measurement Ian Ziering.

In 2016, Burke introduced the Sharknado star as her “least favorite” celebrity in the ABC competition series, and even the course of the experience “makes me want to cut my wrists.”

The TV host and ballroom pro first apologized for her comments on Twitter in 2016. Although she did not directly apologize to Ziering in the first instance, she regretted her word choice.

Now in an episode of the Nicely messed up podcast, Burke addressed her controversy from the past.

“The one thing I really regret and want to compensate for is Ian Ziering,” Burke shared. ‘I was completely out of line a few years ago and I did a podcast where they asked me who my favorite partner was and who I hated the most. And I answered Ian Ziering and said something along the lines of ‘I’d rather cut my wrists than dance with Ian Ziering again. ”
