While Chelsea are struggling in the Premier League, Frank Lampard may consider diving into the transfer market this month to bolster his squad and possibly save his own job.
The Blues boss hinted last week that there is probably more movement out of the club than in it.
But after their defeat in the Premier League on Sunday against Manchester City, the pressure is now on Lampard to overcome their current slump, which has caused them to drop out of the title race.
And with the transfer window now open, there are a lot of rumors surrounding players joining and leaving this club.

Haaland warning issued by Dortmund

Hans-Joachim Watzke, head of Borussia Dortmund, warned that Erling Haaland would probably not leave the club in the near future.
Haaland has been linked with a move to Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid in recent months, despite only joining Dortmund 12 months ago.
“I do not think that will happen,” Watzke told Kicker.
‘Erling and his adviser Mino Raiola know what they have in us.
‘I can only advise him to do things like Robert Lewandowski. Haaland gave himself the time to become an absolute world-class player in Dortmund. You will not be able to do this in a year.
‘Because it is clear that Erling would leave us at some point, he will only go to an even bigger club and so much is not considered.
“If you join a club like – just for example – Real Madrid, you have to be world class.”
Juventus confirm interest in Giroud

Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo has confirmed that Blues veteran Olivier Giroud could be a potential target for him this month.
Giroud has taken shape over the past few weeks, but his future remains in the air, leading Pirlo to indicate he would be interested in the French international if he were available.
“He will be handy!” Pirlo told DAZN.
‘The window opens tomorrow, we have already discussed with the club what we want to do and whether there are opportunities.
“Maybe a goal scorer who can shoot with our strikers.”

Pressure is building more than ever on Chelsea manager Lampard after Sunday’s 3-1 defeat to Manchester City.
According to The Athletic, Lampard is now under serious pressure on the Stamford Bridge seat.
It is claimed that Blues bosses are ready to act if the poor results continue, with plans to find a replacement.
Lampard’s case was exacerbated by tensions raised by fringe members of his group who are unhappy with the situation.
It is believed that a turnaround in form would be enough to save his job as they want a return to the top four.
