It’s official, Novitec has taken its hand to the Ferrari 812 GTS. Of course, some people consider any changes to a Ferrari to be sacred, but we hear here, because the German tuner is no ordinary key to running a shop out of a garage. For the uninitiated, along with upgrading the performance of its vehicles, Novitec is also committed to delivering an upgrade in the aesthetics division.
Let’s start with the clear focal point of this car, the 6.5-liter V12 powerplant that boasts an astonishing 789 horsepower (588 kilowatts). Thanks to a new exhaust and other miscellaneous refinements, Novitec unlocked 840 hp (626 kW). If this is not yet impressive, customers can also purchase an optional Inconel exhaust system; the same metal used in Formula 1 exhaust systems because of its excellent lightness and high temperature tolerance.

From the outside, the car is equipped with sports springs that reduce the ride height by about 35 millimeters (1.38 inches). Along with the improved handling, Novitec also offers a hydraulic front-lifting device for peace of mind – with one push of a button, it can increase the front by about four centimeters (1.5 inches).
Although the front lift is a nice extra, we would be sad not to talk about the Vossen wheels in this car. The special hoops have been specially developed for the 812 and are designed to open the wedge shape of the open two-seater. As an added bonus, the wheels have a center hub – similar to what you’d expect on modern race cars.
The vast majority of the other components in this car remain untouched outside of some raw carbon fiber components that are scattered outside. All the modifications pay homage to Novitec’s tuning expertise, and add to the excitement of the 812 GTS, without taking away the exclusivity of the fact that it’s still a Ferrari.
