The backlog with the games with gold

If you claim the free games with gold offered every month, you may have some easy completions that you have since forgotten. Check out our full list of Xbox Games with Gold Games to see if you have outstanding games that can be used to reach the 10,000G target. According to the requirements of the challenge, achievements unlocked in Xbox 360 games do not count towards the challenge, just keep that in mind.

Easy and fast finishes like Batman: The Enemy Within – The Telltale Series, Gone Home: Console Edition, #IDARB, We Were Lord, and many, many more were Games with Gold at one point or another.

Free Xbox Games

As for free games, you will be somewhat limited. Most free games are big meal parties that take ten or even hundreds of hours to complete. However, Rec Room, a free ‘social app’, offers a whopping 700 Gamerscore that can be unlocked in less than ten minutes. The remaining 300 Gamerscore is a big grind, so keep that in mind if you want the full 1000G.

A free game that does offer a full 1000G and is a simple completion is Korgan, which is estimated to take between one and two hours to complete. Follow our Korgan breakthrough outlining how you can unlock all the achievements of the dungeon.

Xitilon

Over the past few months, Xitilon has become a household name in performance hunting circles, thanks to some of its games that have received effortless title updates worth 1000G each. In our recent interview with the publisher, Xitilon revealed that at least nine of its games will receive similar title updates throughout January. Bullet Beat received its second title update overnight, meaning the shoot-’em-up is now worth a total of 3,000G. If you have previously purchased one of the Xitilon games, it may be worth checking to see if the games you own have had another title update. Also keep an eye out for more title updates that will fall this month. If you’ve not used it yet, TA has an excellent feature that notifies you every time a new DLC appears for games you own. Go to the Settings tab in the Gamer menu and then to the Website Settings. Scroll from there to the DLC section and call the “PM me when new DLC appears for games I own” to receive a notification as soon as we include a new DLC performance list.
