The Prince of Wales is far more concerned about his father’s health than Meghan and Harry appear in the US chat show, The Mail on Sunday reveals.
Charles is said to be ‘deeply concerned’ about the well-being of Prince Philip, who improved last night after a successful heart procedure.
A source said of the future King: ‘He is a man who feels a lot of emotions and is much more concerned about the Duke of Edinburgh than Oprah Winfrey in California does. ‘

Prince Philip (pictured) underwent surgery last Wednesday at St Bartholomew’s in central London, a leading NHS center, before being relocated to private King Edward VII Hospital on Friday.
Philip spends his 20th day in hospital today, but it is hoped he will be well enough to be reunited with the queen soon.

According to Buckingham Palace, he is expected to stay in hospital for a number of days. He was admitted to hospital on February 16 after feeling unwell in Windsor Castle, Berkshire.
It was later revealed that he was undergoing treatment for an infection and was then transferred to an existing heart condition for treatment last Monday. The palace declined to comment on the operation, but it is known that the duke had a stent installed in 2011.
Meanwhile, sources say that Harry and Meghan’s expected revelations made the Prince of Wales ‘very sad’, but that he is still in contact with his younger son. They talk regularly, although they have not discussed the content of the interview and presumably no intervention is being made to try to stop the Sussex from continuing with the plan.
A source said: ‘They have maintained a long relationship between father and son and they leave the job discussions to the men in gray suits. ‘
It is generally accepted that Charles and Harry did not always have the easiest relationship. Royal insiders say it would have been annoying for the Prince of Wales to see Harry recently defend the Netflix drama The Crown, which portrays the young Charles as a cruel and heartless cadre.
