Chainsaw man threatens others at Raleigh hotel :: WRAL.com

Police are looking for a man accused of terrorizing a chainsaw in a Raleigh hotel on Saturday night.

Police in Raleigh surrounded the Red Roof Inn in South Saunders Street after calling for unrest around 9:15 p.m.

The man threatened several people, but no one was hurt. Police said the man used a chainsaw to threaten victims. The man in question eventually left the hotel in a dark-colored sedan.

Safety material got a glimpse of the man wearing a dark green baseball cap, a long white coat, dark jeans and white shoes.

The motive surrounding the man’s actions is not known. The suspect is wanted for attempted kidnapping, aggravated assault and damage to property.
