Alleah Taylor reveals the disturbing injury photos taken after she was brutally attacked by the NFL lineman Chad Wheeler … and she explains why he should be locked up in jail.
Taylor appears on ‘CBS This Morning’ and tells reporter Jericka Duncan the injuries she sustained during the January 22 incident in their Washington apartment will have to be treated for the rest of her life.
For the first time, the woman who says she was attacked by former Seattle Seahawks player Chad Wheeler speaks.
Wheeler pleaded not guilty to three charges, including assault on domestic violence.

“I still have to check my concussion regularly. I have bolts and a steel plate that I will have in my arm forever. I will have to cope with this for the rest of my life.”
As we previously reported, Taylor Wheeler – who played for the Seattle Seahawks at the time – claims to have ‘broken’ and became violent with her in a seemingly manic episode. They went out for about six months at the time.
She claims Wheeler was diagnosed with bipolar disorder before the attack, but recently stopped taking his medication.
During the attack, Taylor says the NFL player demanded that she “bend down” him. When she refused, he hit her and strangled her within an inch of her life.
Police officers eventually showed up and subjected Wheeler to an intense physical battle. He was arrested and beaten with multiple charges of domestic violence.
Asked if she thought Wheeler’s actions were caused by a mental health episode, she told CBS: “To be honest, I do not know.”
She continues: “He went to eat after he did this to me. And he did not take the same approach with the police as with me.”
Wheeler is sentenced to up to 12 years in prison if convicted on charges of domestic violence.
Taylor was asked if she thought Wheeler should make time and replied, “Yes, I definitely think he should.”
Taylor says she is very grateful to be alive – and feels that God has blessed her with a second chance at life.
“I want the time I’m blessed with to try to help other people and to bring out this story and to make sure people do not feel alone and to make sure it does not happen again.”
Wheeler has another trial for Thursday – and his trial is expected to begin in April.
