Nexstgo
Alas, that’s all we have in terms of specifications; there is no word on CPU, GPU, screen resolution, webcam resolution. We can see some design guidelines – especially the hinge, the fingerprint reader and the spacious trackpad – coming from the original Admiror, with the biggest difference in the larger speakers here to deal with the integrated subwoofer system.
Nexstgo added that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Loupedeck, a manufacturer of premium editing consoles, to simplify workflows on the Admiror II. The company has refused to expand at this stage, but we guess whether the consoles are somehow suitable for the laptop, or that some of the consoles’ features will be baked into the laptop. We will hopefully keep track of more information on this, along with a price and a date for this laptop.
You may not have heard of Nexstgo so far, but you would probably have encountered VAIO. The former has been a VAIO licensee in Asia since mid-June 2018, allowing it to manufacture and sell laptops from VAIO brands in markets such as Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore. In addition, Nexstgo has its own consumer line under the Avita brand, as well as a Primus range for the B2B market.
