Celebrate Zelda’s 35th Anniversary with this Wind Waker Orchestrated Fan Album

Zelda

This year it’s 35 years The legend of Zelda series. Nintendo’s announced an HD remake of the Wii title, Skyward Sword, and releases a Switch Joy-Con of the appropriate theme, but in addition it holds out the celebrations.

Regardless, fans celebrate Link’s 35th in all sorts of ways and to take part in the fun, talented British composer Marcus Hedges – who has composed for games such as Century: Age of Ashes, Ignore 2 and Ary and the Secret of Seasons – has its own orchestrated soundtrack of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.

This album, as mentioned above, can be listened to on Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music and several other digital music services.

Hopefully this is not the last we will hear from Wind Waker this year. In fact, if you missed it – the 2002 classic is reportedly going to make a comeback later this year once the HD version of Skyward Sword is released. What do you think of the above soundtrack? Does it bring back fond memories of Wind Waker on the GameCube? Leave a comment below.
