Celebrate Pokémon’s 25th anniversary with a matching denim tuxedo from Levi’s

The Pokémon franchise turns 25 this year, and to celebrate, the brand is collaborating for a number of collaborations, from McDonald’s cards to Post Malone concerts. And then there are Levi’s, celebrating the anniversary with a series Pokémonbranded outfits, guided by the striking floral print Pokémon-theme-denim-trucker-jacket / jeans combination in the best example of the Canadian tuxedo ever made.

The flashy performances are available as separate: a $ 128 truck jacket and a pair of $ 148 jeans, both of which have a … unique print of different Pokémon characters shooting in and out of a flower garden motif. And while Levi’s shows off its models that wave half of the set (presumably as an accent piece for a more restrained outfit), it’s clear that the only real way to style the outfit is by looking at the all-in on the look.

The floral outfits are admittedly the bravest of the collaboration. Most of the Levi’s x Pokémon drop is actually pretty pedestrian in comparison: T-shirts and jeans adorned with characters from the show, a set of shorts and a yellow tank top that is some red bra, not a foggy cosplay, and a knitted hat with Pikachu ears. (There is also an option to be laser etched Pokémon patterns on regular Levi’s jeans for those who prefer a more subtle design.)

The new Levi’s merchandise seems to be the best way to carry you Pokémon love on your sleeve – that is, if you do not count the human-sized Metapod sleeping bag.
