CDC says no quarantine needed for vaccinated people

NEW YORK >> US health officials now recommend that people who are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus do not have to do a 14-day quarantine after an infected person.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention quietly posted the updated clues this week. It states that vaccines can skip quarantine if they are asymptomatic, and if they have been in contact with an infected person for at least two weeks after receiving the final dose in the two-vaccine series and within three months after receiving the last dose.

The recommendation is similar to what the CDC said about people who developed immunity after being infected with COVID.
