CDC review finds that recent deaths in Nebraska are not related to the COVID-19 vaccine

LINCOLN, Neb. The complete CDC review of the death of a Nebraska man who received a COVID-19 vaccine has been completed. The CDC found no evidence that the vaccine contributed to the man’s death, and according to them it was ‘accidental’.

According to the Department of Health and Human Services in Nebraska, a man dies in his late forties with a number of illnesses between 1 and 2 weeks after receiving his first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. The man was also a resident for long-term care.

The death occurred in VAERS, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, a national vaccine safety monitoring program run by CDC and the FDA. Every time a death or any adverse event occurs after vaccination, the case must be reported to VAERS. This process enables the CDC and FDA to closely monitor adverse events and evaluate them for ongoing safety evaluations. The death occurred on January 17 and the man received the vaccine the first week of January.

Dr. Gary Anthone, chief medical officer of Nebraska, said: ‘We can not mention enough the importance of Nebraska Finishing Strong, because we see a light at the end of the tunnel with three vaccines available in our state. It is simply the best protection we have and the best chance to return to a sense of normalcy. I appeal to Nebraskans to enroll in the vaccination. Ne.Gov so that they can be notified when it is their turn. Those at high risk should consult their medical provider about the best way to get vaccinated. ”
