Even though it’s been a minute since they’ve seen each other in person, they’ve still been in regular contact.
It’s been 11 years since the stars “Teen Mom OG”, Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra, put their daughter Carly on ’16 and Pregnant ‘for adoption, but they are still very much in touch with her and the girl’s parents.
Brandon and Teresa Davis last appeared on the show in 2019 and showed up for an interview without Carly for the show’s reunion. Their appearance follows an on-camera reunion between Catelynn, Tyler, their children Vaeda and Nova, their own parents, Brandon, Teresa and Carly – their first meeting after a gap of two years.
It seems like this was the last time they saw each other in person, as Catelynn told TooFab it’s been two years since their most recent meeting, but that does not mean they have not communicated yet.

“We’re talking, Carly’s mom and I send a lot of text messages,” she explained. “We did not … we saw them two summers ago, because of course, with the pandemic and such, they also stayed at home.”
“Hopefully, as soon as COVID calms down or disappears, or if people start vaccinating, we can visit again,” she added, “but we stay in touch.”
“Nova and Carly FaceTimed not so long ago,” Catelynn continues. “so we try to stay as much communication as we can, and as long as the girls can communicate, that’s the most important thing to me.”

During the 2019 reunion, both couples were candid about the public adoption process.
“I do not know what you can say except how wonderful it is, and then I stand there with this lovely young girl, born mother, who hands the child over to me,” Teresa said. “It’s definitely an experience like no other. The gratitude and gratitude of it, packaged in one.”
“It’s very reassuring,” Tyler added. “Thank you that we were able to get involved and see her and were wonderful parents to her. We could not honestly have asked for more.”
Brandon returned the gratitude and said to both of them, ‘The first thing that comes to mind is, as always, gratitude, gratitude to all. We would not be there if it were not for that. ‘
The new season of ‘Teen Mom OG’ starts on Tuesday 26 January at 20:00 ET / PT on MTV.
