While “Bachelor” star Colton Underwood has opened up about his sexuality, his ex-girlfriend Cassie Randolph is vacationing in Mexico.
Underwood came out as gay in an interview with “Good Morning America” on Wednesday. The former ‘Bachelor’ star revealed that he finally accepted his true sexual orientation “earlier this year” and had to take time to process it.
He also made a public apology to Randolph, who presented his final rose during final season 23 of “The Bachelor.”

“It’s hard for me to articulate exactly what my emotions are going through through the relationship with her, because I obviously had an internal struggle,” Underwood, 29, said. “I just want to say I’m sorry. I’m sorry for the pain and emotional tension I caused. ‘
Randolph has not yet commented directly on Underwood’s bombing interview, but she thanked her fans on social media.

“Thank you so much to everyone for all the kind comments and messages. It means so much,” Randolph, 25, wrote according to Deadline in an Instagram Story Friday.
Randolph’s time-limited message also noted that she would take a week-long break from her YouTube channel.
Although fans will have to wait to hear from Randolph, the season 23 winner posted two Instagram photos on her mainstream, showing her vacationing in Cozumel.

Unlike many other “Bachelor” stars, Underwood and Randolph did not get engaged during their 2019 season finale. The couple eventually walked apart in May 2020, and Randolph had a time frame against Underwood after his “disturbing behavior.”
The temporary restriction was lifted in November after the couple reached a ‘private agreement’.

During season 23, ABC emphasized Underwood’s virgin status as a storyline. Underwood told Robin Roberts of ‘Good Morning America’ that he refrained from having sex because he did not agree with his sexuality.

Now Underwood believes he is ‘the happiest and healthiest’ he has ever been, and that he is open to love.
